Design & Construction
A fun & functional green begins with a good design. Too much slope and balls will consistently roll off of the green. A green that is too flat may have drainage problems or lack interest. This is where professional design experience is invaluable. Also, it would be our pleasure to work with any professionals (i.e. architects, landscapers, pool contractors) to insure the successful integration of a green into your project. Construction techniques can vary based upon location, site conditions, intended use and budget. Bases may be constructed of: • reinforced concrete • compacted crushed stone • modular component system
Turf types to optimize performance in: • putting • chipping & approach shots • tee box & fringe areas They can be built indoors or outdoors and sand fillers are optional on most. Depending on size and methods, a small green will usually take 1-5 days to build and larger projects may take a few weeks.
