How to Establish a USGA Golf Club Without Real Estate
The USGA requires that your Golf Club Without Real Estate have:
-
A minimum number of 10 members
-
Club members that have a reasonable and regular opportunity to play together
-
Members that can personally return scores for data entry
-
Scores made available for review by members
- Bylaws - See the USGA Sample Bylaws
here.
You are not required to submit your bylaws to the USGA.
- A handicap chairperson
Each Club Without Real Estate must meet
all of the conditions of the
USGA Club Compliance Checklist in order to issue valid
USGA Handicap Indexes to its members.
Do you want to keep track of your USGA Golf
Club online? It's easy!
Step 1: Sign up
for a free 1Stop4Golf Basic Membership
Step 2: Upgrade to a
1Stop4Golf Deluxe Membership, which includes the USGA Handicap
Service and other benefits.
Step 3: You will be
able to create a group on 1Stop4Golf.com for Members of your
Club to join (they must also go through steps 1-2). Each
Club Member will be able to see the scores and handicap indexes
